Prompt Compressor
Paste a prompt below to trim filler words and wordy phrasing, live, without changing what it actually asks for.
About this tool
Every extra word in a prompt is extra tokens, and extra tokens mean more cost and more time waiting on a response. A lot of that padding, politeness filler, wordy phrasing habits carried over from writing emails, redundant qualifiers, doesn't carry any of the actual instruction. Trimming it shortens the prompt without changing what you're asking the model to do.
How the compression works
This runs a curated list of pattern replacements, not an AI model: dropping pure filler ("please", "kindly", "just to let you know"), swapping wordy constructions for shorter equivalents ("due to the fact that" becomes "because"), and removing qualifiers that are almost always filler ("very", "really", "basically"). Because it's simple pattern matching, it won't catch every possible redundancy, and it deliberately leaves anything that could be load-bearing alone rather than guessing.
Always review the output
Automated trimming can occasionally shift tone or drop a word that mattered more than it looked like it did. Read the compressed version before you send it anywhere that matters, this is meant to save you a first editing pass, not replace a final read-through.
